What Roundtable Members think
The IRF Roundtable is round like our world. And like our world, it is filled with many good and noble religions. But, unlike our world, the Roundtable is truly devoted to a unity of heart, mind and will, for the healing and sanctification of our world.
The IRF Roundtable has played a major and indispensable role in catalyzing fruitful communication and collaboration between policymakers and NGOs in Washington, DC. It serves as a unique and encouraging model of how communities with deep and often irreconcilable theological differences can nevertheless work together constructively for the common good.
As an LGBT Christian pastor concerned with religious freedom, there are few places I am welcome to participate - but the IRF Roundtable is the exception. As a member, I am surrounded by people and organizations from all perspectives from all around the world. We are encouraged to share who we are and to invite collaboration - not to change each other's beliefs but to better understand each other, and to help where help is needed for human rights all over the world.
